There are lots of rumours and leaks regarding the new OnePlus 3 that’s set to be released in June. However, there’s been some speculation that it could, in fact, be released this month. To find out all the details we have so far, read on!
What We Know So Far
The OnePlus 3 is the next flagship phone from OnePlus and is set to be affordable at around £230. The OnePlus 2 was a popular phone when it was first released, but after only a couple of months, it received criticism due to a number of performance issues. With this in mind, OnePlus fans are hoping that the latest handset has improved considerably.
So far we’ve heard that there’s a possibility the handset can charge up from no battery to full in just 15 minutes with VOOC fast charging tech from Oppo.
There are currently two different sources that describe different RAM with one being 4GB and the other 6GB. However, another rumour claims that this is because there will two different versions – it’s been claimed there will be a 4GB RAM version with 32GB of storage while a 6GB of RAM version will cost a little more with 64GB of memory onboard - so we’ll need to wait and see.
There are also suggestions that the OnePlus 3 will have a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5-inch 1080p screen, 64GB of storage, Android Marshmallow, a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing one. Recently leaked shots of the handset suggested an iPhone style design – plain black metal with a similar shape and design to the iPhone. However, at this point, the photos could very well be fake.
